<
Thirds to humans and the brown rat, the killer whale is the third most distributed mammal on the planet
you can find them all over the world mainly in places with colder water, however than can exist in the tropis as well
Killer whales are split into 4 subgroups A-D depedning on how close to the shore they live
Migration patterns are dependant on these groups, group A killer whale dont migrate, however, group B whale can travel up to 6,000 miles in one
Mirgation cycle. The reason for this being how much ice forms off the coast during the cold winter months.
Whale groups and mirgation patterns
- Group A:Live off shore with no ice, Mirgarate to Anartic waters in Autumn
- Group B:Live in shore waters of Anartica,Rapid migration to the tropics
- Group C:Live in inshore waters in anartica with lots of ice, Doesnt Migrate
